The below three paragraphs I am simply repeating from others who did a great job is sating the facts:
Chick-fil-A
has always operated with biblical values. Franchises from coast to coast are
closed on Sunday in order to observe the Sabbath and allow employees to attend
church, if they wish. The company's charitable foundation has given $2 million
to pro-family organizations, including Focus on the Family. That's made a lot
of headlines, too, especially in the blogosphere.
The point is, we no longer seem to live in a country where people can agree to
disagree over same-sex marriage and let the dominant viewpoint prevail at the
polls. Instead, those who seek to radically redefine the family too often take
a scorched-earth policy to everyone who holds biblical values, and seek to
silence them in any way possible.
Please join me in praying that God will restore a level of civil discourse to
our nation—and thanking Him for courageous people who will stand up for their
beliefs, no matter what the cost. I hope that each of us is able to display the
kind of integrity the Cathy family has through this debate.

I have known for a long time that they were a great company based on comments from people who work for them. So Now That Spain is Bankrupt... How's Life
I got the following comment from one of my readers.... It is just this type thinking that has taken down several of the European countries and threatens the USA... It is a great idea until the money runs out and it always does... Spain, Greece, Italy, etc they are all in the same boat. Sadly the USA is only about 5 years away unless we change and do it in 2013.

NEVER tell what we get in exchange. We true freedom - because everyone
has a right to health care and if we lose our job or if our business

to sell our homes or cash in our kids college funds because we are
taken care of.... We enjoy a fabulous health care system - STATE OF THE
ART.. my husband just had a liver transplant for FREE including a
stipend for his wife to take time off to be at his bedside. So you just
go ahead and count your precious pennies and pray you don't get sick or
lose your job cuz Uncle Sam aint gonna give a damn! on Current European tax rates - America next?

First, of all on this very solemn day, please take a moment to pray for those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks against our nation on September 11, 2001 and to pray for the loved ones they left behind and to pray for those who defend our nation against those who would do us harm today.

They'll do anything to keep from talking about the issues, won't they?
The Democrats are losing when it comes to a debate on the issues and on facts, so they have to resort to demonizing their opponents.
I was in Colorado recently and I made a speech on health care reform. I spoke for nearly 45 minutes about freedom and health care and our gangster government and the economy. You can see the full video here.
But, the Democrats just want to talk about one line where I said that we as freedom-loving conservatives must do all we can to stop this rush to socialism.
In fact, Montel Williams suggested I take a knife to my throat in response. (Listen here to his death wish for me.)
And, when demonizing those of us who stand up to their socialist plans doesn't work, they resort to out and out lies.
The Democrats are running ads against me that even MinnPost calls "beyond misleading. It's false."
At town hall meetings across the nation this summer, the American people said loud and clear that they don't buy what the Democrats are trying to sell them.
And, instead of listening to what you are trying to tell them -- that you don't want government-run health care; that you want the spending spree Washington is on to stop; that you value your freedom -- they're plowing forward with the same old plan!
The President's speech on Wednesday was just the same plan you have already rejected wrapped up in the President's charisma.
They can't argue on the facts or the issues, so they have to make it about personalities and they have to paint strong conservatives like me and as evil, uninformed, or crazy. They simply can't understand that there are people out there like you that don't buy their policy prescriptions and that there are people like me who will stand up for you in Congress.
I thank God for strong supporters like you; for people who are willing to stand up for freedom. And, you can bet that I will never abandon our cause.
Keep up the fight! Together, we will win this one!

On the heels of a break in and beating that left an
elderly woman in Toledo dead, self defense experts have a tip that could save your life.
Val Glinka teaches self-defense to students at Sylvania
Southview High School . For decades, he's suggested putting a can of wasp and hornet spray near your door. (or bed).
Glinka says, "This is better than anything I can teach them."
Glinka considers it inexpensive, easy to find, and more
effective than mace or pepper spray.
The cans typically shoot 20 to 30 feet; so if someone tries to break into your home, Glinka says "spray the culprit in the eyes".
It's a tip he's given to students for decades. It's also
one he wants everyone to hear. If you're looking for
protection, Glinka says look to the spray.
"That's going to give you a chance to call the police;
maybe get out."
Maybe even save a life.

A friend who is a receptionist in a
church in a high risk area was
concerned about someone coming into the
office on Monday to rob them when they
were counting the collection.
She asked the local police department about
using pepper spray and they recommended
to her that she get a can of wasp spray
instead. The wasp spray, they told
her, can shoot up to twenty feet away
and is a lot more accurate, while with
the pepper spray they have to get too
close to you and could overpower you.
The wasp spray temporarily blinds an
attacker until they get to the
hospital for an antidote. She keeps a
can on her desk in the office and it
doesn't attract attention from people
like a can of pepper spray would. She
also keeps one nearby at home for home
protection. Thought this was
interesting and might be of use...

What A Waste Of US Dollars or Actually China's Dollars Since They Came From Borrowed Money
Obama's Nov Trip to India
If you haven't already read or heard about Obama's trip to India on November 6th, you need to familiarize yourself with these facts!
Barack, his wife and the two girls are traveling to India on November 6th (right after the election) for a State visit. (Just a visitation; no official government business)
Here are a few highlights:
*Obama booked all 570 rooms, banquet rooms, and restaurants at the 5-star Taj Mahal Hotel.
*Additionally, they booked 125 rooms at the Taj President and 80 to 90 rooms at each the Grand Hyatt and Oberoi Hotels. The NCPA is also totally booked, where Obama will meet with business leaders.
*Meanwhile, Michelle will be meeting with "commercial sex workers" in Mumbai. (curious choice)
*He will take between 800 people plus staff with him
*He is taking BOTH Air Force ones and BOTH Marine one helicopters (to be used to ferry the Obamas around on their sightseeing).
*They are taking a total of 40 aircraft
*45 cars will be in his motorcade including his Lincoln Continental.
*Security will be huge, including the Navy and Coast Guard patrolling the sea front to negate the possibility of a missile being fired. And 35-40 Secret Service agents will arrive in India prior to November 6th.
*Obama is taking his personal staff, including his chefs, "not because his dislikes Indian food, but to ensure that his food is not spiked".
Google his trip for more information and to verify the information above. This "dude" (his newest nickname) truly must think he is King! Somehow he needs to be stopped! This is all happening while our country is suffering from unemployment, bad economy and excessive spending. These factors are obviously not important to Obama who has time to appear on TV comedy shows and play golf. What a crying shame!

Found this interesting, Children of congress members do not have to pay back their college student loans. How nice! Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it.

This is an idea that we should address.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms.
Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law.
I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

Salute the Danish Flag - it's a Symbol of Western Freedom

In 1978-9 I was living and studying in Denmark . But in 1978 - even in Copenhagen , one didn't see Muslim immigrants.
The Danish population embraced visitors, celebrated the exotic, went out of its way to protect each of its citizens. It was proud of its new brand of socialist liberalism one in development since the conservatives had lost power in 1929 - a system where no worker had to struggle to survive, where one ultimately could count upon the state as in, perhaps, no other western nation at the time.
The rest of Europe saw the Scandinavians as free-thinking, progressive and infinitely generous in their welfare policies. Denmark boasted low crime rates, devotion to the environment, a superior educational system and a history of humanitarianism.
Denmark was also most generous in its immigration policies - it offered the best welcome in Europe to the new immigrant: generous welfare payments from first arrival plus additional perks in transportation, housing and education. It was determined to set a world example for inclusiveness and multiculturalism. How could it have predicted that one day in 2005 a series of political cartoons in a newspaper would spark violence that would leave dozens dead in the streets - all because its commitment to multiculturalism would come back to bite?
By the 1990's the growing urban Muslim population was obvious - and its unwillingness to integrate into Danish society was obvious. Years of immigrants had settled into Muslim-exclusive enclaves. As the Muslim leadership became more vocal about what they considered the decadence of Denmark 's liberal way of life, the Danes - once so welcoming - began to feel slighted. Many Danes had begun to see Islam as incompatible with their long-standing values: belief in personal liberty and free speech, in equality for women, in tolerance for other ethnic groups, and a deep pride in Danish heritage and history.
An article by Daniel Pipes and Lars Hedegaard, in which they forecasted, accurately, that the growing immigrant problem in Denmark would explode. In the article they reported:
'Muslim immigrants constitute 5 percent of the population but consume upwards of 40 percent of the welfare spending.'
'Muslims are only 4 percent of Denmark's 5.4 million people but make up a majority of the country's convicted rapists, an especially combustible issue given that practically all the female victims are non-Muslim. Similar, if lesser, disproportions are found in other crimes.'
'Over time, as Muslim immigrants increase in numbers, they wish less to mix with the indigenous population. A recent survey finds that only 5 percent of young Muslim immigrants would readily marry a Dane.'
'Forced marriages - promising a newborn daughter in Denmark to a male cousin in the home country, then compelling her to marry him, sometimes on pain of death - are one problem.'
'Muslim leaders openly declare their goal of introducing Islamic law once Denmark 's Muslim population grows large enough - a not-that-remote prospect. If present trends persist, one sociologist estimates, every third inhabitant of Denmark in 40 years will be Muslim.'
It is easy to understand why a growing number of Danes would feel that Muslim immigrants show little respect for Danish values and laws.
An example is the phenomenon common to other European countries and Canada: some Muslims in Denmark who opted to leave the Muslim faith have been murdered in the name of Islam, while others hide in fear for their lives. Jews are also threatened and harassed openly by Muslim leaders in Denmark, a country where once Christian citizens worked to smuggle out nearly all of their 7,000 Jews by night to Sweden - before the Nazis could invade. I think of my Danish friend Elsa - who, as a teenager, had dreaded crossing the street to the bakery every morning under the eyes of occupying Nazi soldiers - and I wonder what she would say today.
In 2001, Denmark elected the most conservative government in some 70 years - one that had some decidedly non-generous ideas about liberal unfettered immigration. Today, Denmark has the strictest immigration policies in Europe . (Its effort to protect itself has been met with accusations of 'racism' by liberal media across Europe - even as other governments struggle to right the social problems wrought by years of too-lax immigration.)

You must demonstrate an intent to work, and have a job waiting. If you wish to bring a spouse into Denmark , you must both be over 24 years of age, and you won't find it so easy anymore to move your friends and family to Denmark with you.
You will not be allowed to build a mosque in Copenhagen . Although your children have a choice of some 30 Arabic culture and language schools in Denmark , they will be strongly encouraged to assimilate to Danish society in ways that past immigrants weren't.
In 2006, the Danish minister for employment, Claus Hjort Frederiksen, spoke publicly of the burden of Muslim immigrants on the Danish welfare system, and it was horrifying: the government's welfare committee had calculated that if immigration from Third World countries were blocked, 75 percent of the cuts needed to sustain the huge welfare system in coming decades would be unnecessary. In other words, the welfare system, as it existed, was being exploited by immigrants to the point of eventually bankrupting the government. 'We are simply forced to adopt a new policy on immigration.'
'The calculations of the welfare committee are terrifying and show how unsuccessful the integration of immigrants has been up to now,' he said.
A large thorn in the side of Denmark 's imams is the Minister of Immigration and Integration, Rikke Hvilshoj. She makes no bones about the new policy toward immigration, 'The number of foreigners coming to the country makes a difference,' Hvilshoj says, 'There is an inverse correlation between how many come here and how well we can receive the foreigners that come.' And on Muslim immigrants needing to demonstrate a willingness to blend in, 'In my view, Denmark should be a country with room for different cultures and religions. Some values, however, are more important than others. We refuse to question democracy, equal rights, and freedom of speech.'
Hvilshoj has paid a price for her show of backbone. Perhaps to test her resolve, the leading radical imam in Denmark, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Laban, demanded that the government pay blood money to the family of a Muslim who was murdered in a suburb of Copenhagen, stating that the family's thirst for revenge could be thwarted for money. When Hvilshoj dismissed his demand, he argued that in Muslim culture the payment of retribution money was common, to which Hvilshoj replied that what is done in a Muslim country is not necessarily what is done in Denmark.
The Muslim reply came soon after: her house was torched while she, her husband and children slept. All managed to escape unharmed, but she and her family were moved to a secret location and she and other ministers were assigned bodyguards for the first time - in a country where such murderous violence was once so scarce.
Her government has slid to the right, and her borders have tightened. Many believe that what happens in the next decade will determine whether Denmark survives as a bastion of good living, humane thinking and social responsibility, or whether it becomes a nation at civil war with supporters of Sharia law.
And meanwhile, Canadians clamor for stricter immigration policies, and demand an end to state welfare programs that allow many immigrants to live on the public dole. As we in Canada look at the enclaves of Muslims amongst us, and see those who enter our shores too easily, dare live on our taxes, yet refuse to embrace our culture, respect our traditions, participate in our legal system, obey our laws, speak our language, appreciate our history. We would do well to look to Denmark , and say a prayer for her future and for our own.

In 1978-9 I was living and studying in Denmark . But in 1978 - even in Copenhagen , one didn't see Muslim immigrants.
The Danish population embraced visitors, celebrated the exotic, went out of its way to protect each of its citizens. It was proud of its new brand of socialist liberalism one in development since the conservatives had lost power in 1929 - a system where no worker had to struggle to survive, where one ultimately could count upon the state as in, perhaps, no other western nation at the time.
The rest of Europe saw the Scandinavians as free-thinking, progressive and infinitely generous in their welfare policies. Denmark boasted low crime rates, devotion to the environment, a superior educational system and a history of humanitarianism.
Denmark was also most generous in its immigration policies - it offered the best welcome in Europe to the new immigrant: generous welfare payments from first arrival plus additional perks in transportation, housing and education. It was determined to set a world example for inclusiveness and multiculturalism. How could it have predicted that one day in 2005 a series of political cartoons in a newspaper would spark violence that would leave dozens dead in the streets - all because its commitment to multiculturalism would come back to bite?
By the 1990's the growing urban Muslim population was obvious - and its unwillingness to integrate into Danish society was obvious. Years of immigrants had settled into Muslim-exclusive enclaves. As the Muslim leadership became more vocal about what they considered the decadence of Denmark 's liberal way of life, the Danes - once so welcoming - began to feel slighted. Many Danes had begun to see Islam as incompatible with their long-standing values: belief in personal liberty and free speech, in equality for women, in tolerance for other ethnic groups, and a deep pride in Danish heritage and history.
An article by Daniel Pipes and Lars Hedegaard, in which they forecasted, accurately, that the growing immigrant problem in Denmark would explode. In the article they reported:
'Muslim immigrants constitute 5 percent of the population but consume upwards of 40 percent of the welfare spending.'
'Muslims are only 4 percent of Denmark's 5.4 million people but make up a majority of the country's convicted rapists, an especially combustible issue given that practically all the female victims are non-Muslim. Similar, if lesser, disproportions are found in other crimes.'
'Over time, as Muslim immigrants increase in numbers, they wish less to mix with the indigenous population. A recent survey finds that only 5 percent of young Muslim immigrants would readily marry a Dane.'
'Forced marriages - promising a newborn daughter in Denmark to a male cousin in the home country, then compelling her to marry him, sometimes on pain of death - are one problem.'
'Muslim leaders openly declare their goal of introducing Islamic law once Denmark 's Muslim population grows large enough - a not-that-remote prospect. If present trends persist, one sociologist estimates, every third inhabitant of Denmark in 40 years will be Muslim.'
It is easy to understand why a growing number of Danes would feel that Muslim immigrants show little respect for Danish values and laws.
An example is the phenomenon common to other European countries and Canada: some Muslims in Denmark who opted to leave the Muslim faith have been murdered in the name of Islam, while others hide in fear for their lives. Jews are also threatened and harassed openly by Muslim leaders in Denmark, a country where once Christian citizens worked to smuggle out nearly all of their 7,000 Jews by night to Sweden - before the Nazis could invade. I think of my Danish friend Elsa - who, as a teenager, had dreaded crossing the street to the bakery every morning under the eyes of occupying Nazi soldiers - and I wonder what she would say today.
In 2001, Denmark elected the most conservative government in some 70 years - one that had some decidedly non-generous ideas about liberal unfettered immigration. Today, Denmark has the strictest immigration policies in Europe . (Its effort to protect itself has been met with accusations of 'racism' by liberal media across Europe - even as other governments struggle to right the social problems wrought by years of too-lax immigration.)

When the President ordered the Catholic Church to provide contraceptives to prevent the birth of new life, he hit a nerve in the heart of every true Catholic and Evangelical.
Being a politician, he will attempt to compromise his position until after the election and then release the full power of government to force the church to obey the state. Think about this! If he made this bold statement before the election, consider how brutal he will be if he is re-elected!
I have said it before and I will say it again: the election on November 6, 2012 for the office of President is the day of decision for America. Four more years of Obama will bring absolute socialism to America. Our children and grandchildren will never know the greatness of America that we have experienced. THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN!

North Dakota is experiencing such a boom in revenues from oil production that voters actually considered a measure to abolish the state’s property taxes.
Although the measure was defeated in the June 12 vote, the fact that it was even considered points to the incredible economic opportunities enjoyed by North Dakota residents due to unfettered oil production.
“It turns out that, yes, we can drill our way out of our problems,” Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) observes in an editorial.
“If you can see a pattern here, you're way ahead of President Obama. His argument is that we can't drill our way out of high energy prices let alone out of debt and the need for higher taxes. But it's about to be exposed once again as the self-serving falsehood it is.”
North Dakota in March pumped oil at the rate of 575,490 barrels per day, replacing California as the nation's No. 3 oil-producing state behind Texas and Alaska. At its current rate of production growth, North Dakota will likely surpass Alaska sometime this year.
Continental Resources, which operates 10 percent of the drilling rigs in North Dakota, estimates there are more than 900 billion barrels of oil in place.
Only 27 billion to 45 billion barrels are actually recoverable using today's technology, but that amount will grow as technology advances.
Thanks to the energy boom, North Dakota has the nation's lowest unemployment rate at just over 3 percent, and Williams County — at the center of the drilling boom — boasts the lowest jobless rate in the country at just 0.7 percent.
Oil revenues in the state generated some $840 million in fiscal 2011 and are expected to deliver more than $2 billion over the next two years. State per-capita income is $4,000 above the national average.
“The North Dakota oil boom has occurred on private and state lands, unfettered by federal edict that has placed out of reach much of the estimated 200-year supply of oil within our borders,” IBD stated, noting that 94 percent of federal onshore lands and 97 percent of federal offshore lands are off-limits to oil and gas drilling.
As the Insider Report disclosed earlier, the Green River Formation, a largely vacant area where Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming come together, contains about as much recoverable oil as all the rest of the world's proven reserves combined.
But most of the oil is beneath federal land overseen by the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management, and the government has "locked up" development of the huge resource, critics charge.
“Critics will say North Dakota is a small state and its success couldn't be replicated nationwide,” IBD concludes. “Oh, yes it can.
“We can cut taxes, boost employment and jump-start economic growth if we tap into that 200-year supply of oil and back oil-extraction technology with as much enthusiasm as the Obama administration backs electric cars and high-speed rail.”
